Term 4 will commence on Saturday 19th October 2024 at Ryde Aquatic Centre Macquarie University Aquatic Centre.

Ryde's Junior Development program includes the Rhinos' learn to play water polo program.  It's a great way to introduce kids to a new sport and have fun in a supportive environment.

The program is led by our club stalwart Peter Gerrie, a retired Aussie Shark and life member of the Ryde Rhinos.

Ryde's Junior Development program is open to school aged children from 8 to 12 years of age.
Important:  The program is run in the Deep end of an outside pool at Macquarie University Aquatic Centre.

Participants must be able to swim 50m confidently as the water polo pool is deep (2m) and swimming is a large component of water polo play.  Freestyle, breaststroke and if possible backstroke.  A swim check will be done on participants on their first session.

Term 4: Saturday 19th October to Saturday 14th December 2024

Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm (*1:00pm - 2:00pm Sat 26th Oct & Sat 2nd Nov at Macquarie Uni Aquatic Centre, Gymnasium Road, North Ryde)

Registration: $200 for term

Venue: Ryde Aquatic Centre  (*Macquarie Uni Aquatic Centre, Gymnasium Road, North Ryde Sat 26th Oct & Sat 2nd Nov at 1:00pm - 2:00pm)

Note: pool entry fees are payable on entry to aquatic centre and not included in the water polo registration fee.
